Walking too fast again.

You’re walking too fast again.

You’re in far too much of a hurry to find “it”, for it to actually be found.

You’re missing the crunch of leaves underfoot. Walking past entire lives of leaves which have spent their year transforming from a bud, into the leaf you’re stepping over without a second thought. A full lifecycle has fallen just to your right, and yet you are in a hurry.

“Quick, my peace and salvation lay just around this corner, I must expeditiously arrive, for I fear such serenity will not wait for me.”

Shhhh, quiet now. The trees are speaking.
