Live It for Now

Warmth of a Heart.

She stands alone. Inside of an abandoned Great Hall that had been cast off to time. Cobwebs string together crystal chandeliers that had once shined down upon dinners for the loved, and the loveless. Courageously placing one bare foot before the other, Her own fire lights the candles above Her head and scares away the horror.

Feeling warmth in this foreign place, She runs forth. Bursting life into every room, sprinting down every corridor, singing with each breath. Gentle, loving light now glows upon walls displaying majestic murals of battles fought, and laughter shared.

Her care to remove the words left by others is tedious. Careful not to damage the allure of this Great Hall, Her hands, and knees, are now rubbed raw. Diligent in the work, and passionate in Her pursuit; days, months, and years spin clockwise.

Standing proudly she is awe-inspiringly beautiful. Falling to my knees with joy, She holds my head to whisper upon my ear “I love you my boy.”
