Gotcha.
As long as one can be fooled out of being who they are, one deserves to be.
- Or something quite similar was once said by Alan Watts -
The audacity to claim that one should and ought to be tricked out of reuniting with who they are is really one big joke. What can be more humorous than playing tricks on ourselves and dancing about who we are?
Ok, you go other there and be you and I’ll be over here standing as me.
Then we’ll nod and smile politely saying how good and bad things are.
This is not to say I don’t enjoy conversation and small talk. These things are natural to have with any real meaningful connections with people because you’ve built the relationship through hypotheticals, what if’s, and maybes.
It all leads back to the game! There is no escaping, we’re properly in the middle and the funniest part is that’s right where we’re meant to be!
Great, now I’m not even sure what that is up there. It should be quarantined and surrounded by caution tape to be contained. With thoughts like that running rampant around these parts, devastation and havok which may be wrought upon civilization is unknown.
Wash your hands of this, put down the blasted device (as I type on one hoping you’ll be one to stick around) and be free.
I hope you stay.
